These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Plexa Trust website, platform and related services (the “Service”) operated by Plexa Trust (“we”, “us”, “our”).
By creating an account, running a scan, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
Plexa Trust provides automated website scanning, trust scoring, security and compliance checks, accessibility analysis, AI-assisted recommendations, document generation, monitoring, trust badges, reporting tools and related features.
Scan results, scores and AI-generated content are provided for informational purposes only. They do not guarantee that a website is secure, compliant or free from vulnerabilities.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
You agree to provide accurate registration information and to keep your account details up to date.
You may only scan websites that you own or have explicit permission to test. You must not use the Service to:
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
Paid plans are billed according to the pricing shown at checkout. Fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law or explicitly stated otherwise.
You may cancel subscriptions through your account or billing portal. Access to paid features continues until the end of the current billing period unless otherwise stated.
AI fix guides, improvement plans, policies and other generated content are templates and suggestions only. They do not constitute legal, security or professional advice.
You are solely responsible for reviewing, adapting and publishing any generated content before use on your website.
Trust scores reflect automated checks at a point in time and may change as your website or our scanning methodology evolves. Trust badges and verification pages must not be modified or used in a misleading way.
We may revoke badges or public verification if scores fall below published thresholds or if misuse is detected.
The Service, including software, branding, design and documentation, is owned by Plexa Trust or its licensors. You retain ownership of your website content and data you submit.
You grant us a limited licence to process your URLs and scan data solely to provide the Service.
Our use of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. Our use of cookies is described in our Cookie Policy.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of scan results or uninterrupted availability.
Automated scans cannot detect every security issue. Independent security review may still be appropriate for high-risk applications.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Plexa Trust shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill or business opportunity arising from your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or £100 if you use the free tier.
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising from your misuse of the Service, scanning of websites without permission, or publication of AI-generated content without appropriate review.
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay applicable fees, or if continued provision becomes impractical or unlawful.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts in England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence.
